🔍 What Does Liberty Level 3 Security Mean?
Level 3 is part of Liberty Safe’s own security ranking system. It helps customers compare features within Liberty’s lineup; it is not a UL burglary rating or a guarantee against every type of attack.

- 14-gauge steel body: Steel construction forms the foundation of the safe’s protective enclosure.
- Solid State™ locking bars: Liberty lists 4-inch-wide, 3/16-inch-thick bars for the series.
- Drill-resistant hardplate: Hardened steel helps protect the lock against drilling attacks.
- Relocker mechanism: Provides additional locking protection during certain forced-entry attempts.
🔐 Check the Lock on Your Selected Safe
Liberty currently lists an S&G Spartan electronic lock for the Centurion Series. Older inventory and special configurations can differ, so confirm the lock included with the safe you’re purchasing.
📋 Security Ratings and Certifications Are Different
Liberty identifies current Centurion models as California DOJ-approved firearm safety devices. That approval is separate from Liberty’s Level 3 designation and should not be described as a UL Residential Security Container rating.
🔥 What About Fire Protection?
The Centurion Series offers up to 40 minutes of published fire protection at 1,200°F, depending on the model, and includes a Palusol™ heat-expanding door seal.
Confirm the fire rating for your selected model and production version before ordering. A fire rating describes performance under test conditions, not a guarantee that every item will survive every fire.

The Centurion lineup includes the 12, 18, 24, and 32. Your available floor space, storage needs, and delivery route should guide your choice.
