Your safe’s manufacturer may retain combination recovery information or a lock troubleshooting code to help if you lose access to your safe or have a lock issue. Liberty Safe and Rhino Metals each offer a way to request removal of that information from their records.
Before requesting removal: The manufacturer may no longer be able to recover your combination or provide certain lock support after the information is removed. Review the details on your manufacturer’s page before submitting a request.
Liberty Safe allows owners to request removal of combination recovery information from its records. Liberty states that once removed, the information cannot be recovered and future combination recovery assistance will no longer be available.

Rhino Metals allows owners to request removal of their lock’s troubleshooting code from its records. Rhino states that after removal, it will no longer be able to provide support service for that lock. Its request process requires proof of purchase and photo identification.
