Help protect firearms, important documents, jewelry, and other valuables from excess moisture with the Liberty Dry Rod Dehumidifier. Unlike moisture absorbers that collect humidity, the Dry Rod gently warms the air inside your safe to create natural air circulation that helps reduce condensation and minimize the risk of rust, corrosion, and mildew.

Operating continuously at approximately 100–120°F, the Dry Rod raises the temperature inside your safe slightly above the surrounding air. This natural convection encourages moist air to escape through small gaps around the safe door while allowing warmer, drier air to circulate throughout the interior.

For best results, mount the Dry Rod horizontally near the bottom of your safe, although it can also be installed vertically against a side wall when needed. Because humidity control is a gradual process, it may take several weeks before you notice a significant reduction in moisture levels, depending on your environment.

For safes without a factory-installed power outlet, we recommend adding Liberty's Electrical Outlet Kit to conveniently power your Dry Rod and other electrical accessories.
